Features

The T14 D2 power resistors are made in the central part with 80/20 spiralized nicrome wire and sealed in an anodized aluminum container with IP54 protection rating.

The small size of the resistor allows for high power output, the finned heatsink improves the dissipation of the resistive elements, allowing for large energy to be dissipated per pulse.

These features make the T14 D1 resistors particularly functional where high reliability in a small space is required: inverters, snubber circuits, drives and in motor braking.

The resistor can be installed in a horizontal position. To improve cooling, it can be installed vertically, creating a chimney effect. The finned surface keeps the resistor cooler. The power ratings were calculated with the resistor in a horizontal position, with the connection cables at the bottom. The maximum power rating of a resistor is obtained by mounting it vertically, thus improving natural air exchange. Dissipation can also be improved by mounting a fan near the resistor, thus improving the aluminum/air heat exchange. The range of resistors we manufacture satisfies most of our customers' needs. We are able to manufacture resistors with specific lengths, ohmic values, and tolerances based on customer requirements.
