The resistor can be installed in a horizontal position. To improve cooling, it can be installed vertically, creating a chimney effect. The finned surface keeps the resistor cooler. The power ratings were calculated with the resistor in a horizontal position, with the connection cables at the bottom. The maximum power rating of a resistor is obtained by mounting it vertically, thus improving natural air exchange. Dissipation can also be improved by mounting a fan near the resistor, thus improving the aluminum/air heat exchange. The range of resistors we manufacture satisfies most of our customers' needs.
